U-protein
U-protein material is extracted from non-allergen protein-rich agricultural by-products. The extracted natural polymers are mildly processed to be used as coating, film and/or adhesive material. No chemical polymerization nor excessive heating is involved in our unique production technique. The produced material is naturally safe for food applications and fully degradable in soil within days.

Coating on paper

U-protein is smoothly spread on various types of paper and serves as a strong barrier binding to the fibrous surface. Single-side U-protein coating on paper is tested to hold water for 30 min, oil for 5 min, and heated at 200 ℃, simulating the use conditions of single-use food packaging.
Adhesive for plywood

Urea-/Phenol-formaldehyde adhesive, or certain additives in bio-based adhesives can be sources of toxic VOCs (volatile organic compound). Without any additives, U-protein exhibits high bonding strength and good water resistance, that enables simple formulation to be used as a safe and sustainable adhesive.
Alternative solutions

U-protein offers an alternative option to plastic, utilizing biomass instead of fossil resources and fertilizes the soil at the end of product life cycle.
U-protein does not contain, migrate nor release hazardous substances, eliminating any health concern in its everyday uses.

V-protein
Protein is naturally available in green leaves, with total mass on earth over 700,000,000 tones. V-protein is an extraction of edible green leaves, containing more than 50% of natural protein. The mild extraction method retains its excellent protein solubility and digestibility, allowing V-protein to be applied in various food products.
Natural extract

Alfalfa grows in saline-alkali soil and can be planted to improve soil quality. It is one of the sources of V-protein. Green leaf protein is concentrated using a mild process, resulting in a pale green to yellow powder product.
Source of protein

V-protein is a non-allergenic plant-based ingredient, while exhibiting a complete amino acid profile and high PDCCA score. With over 50% protein content, it is rapidly soluble and easily digestible.
Functional ingredient

With its foaming, emulsifying and gel-forming properties, V-protein is not only an addition of natural protein, but also a functional ingredient to be used in food formulations.
